I don't understand why people think you should feel better or apathetic when they say things like "it is what it is" or "why stress, you can't do anything about it" when those are the very reason you feel sad/angry, if you could do something about it, it wouldn't be a problem in the first place, it's your powerlessness and unchangeable nature of the situation that hurts the most
