So I am thinking about the guys I know in relationships and I found out that the rule is very simple. If you are white you can find love and if you are anything else you struggle. The exception being a certain type of black guy who can be a Tyrone; just like a certain type of white guy who can be a Chad. But I am not talking about sleeping around; I am talking about finding a high quality life partner - something only white guys have available to them.

Let me look at myself for example. I am a lawyer, I make good money; I have hobbies and interests and live a meaningful life. I also have good domestic / child rearing skills. By any objective metric I should be a top tier pick to be a life partner. But of course women care a lot more about looks than anything else; and definitely more so than men despite popular narrative saying it is the reverse.

But even on looks the consensus is that my looks are average, dad bod being the only "flaw". In fact I am 185cm so even based on superficial I should be fine.

Except i am a visible minority. And that is the big unspoken barrier in our society. I know white guys who are poor, who are short, who are obese - they all have partners. But minority guys no matter how great they are struggle.

While we have dropped the good parts of the 1950s (more wealth equality; affordable quality of life; high tax rates; monogamy / life partners as a virtue), we have retained the racism. Or more accurately women have. Also while women have been freed from gender roles (good); men are still held to them due to how sexist our society is against us
