Frat boys/jocks are a manifestation of a sport team mentality; the idea of supporting a banner with nothing behind it. In a moral society, the "frat boys" if allowed to act out and bully others, they would be publicly shamed.
I consider the struggle sessions of 1960s Maoist China the ideal model; less politically related and more socially related (such as dealing with hookupers and other antisocial elements like criminals).
We talk a lot about rapists, but most rapists know their victims. Again, barely any of us have friends or even someone we know, raping isn't our domain even though we talk about it a lot.
