I was discussing this yesterday with a friend and was saying besides things that society has manifested is there any real difference between having red hair like I have and someone having black skin? I mean both are literally physical attributes. Just because someone is black doesn't mean they went through years of slavery or something, that was hundreds of years ago. So why is it perfectly ok to mock red hair but not mention someone's race?
Furthermore if it is completely out of the question to judge someone based on their skin colour which IS an entirely physical thing no matter what shit you hear why is it okay to judge people positively or negatively on other physical things i.e. judging someone based on their looks on Tinder?
If racism i.e. judging someone negatively based on their physical skin colour isn't ok shouldn't judging someone on their frame or hairline or jaw be outlawed too? Sure the makers of Tinder will say that they also have the bio that people can match on but if this is the case why not just allow bios on dating apps/sites and remove the adding of photos?
My point being isn't swiping left on someone based on their looks the exactly the same as excluding someone from a job interview group because they are black and shouldn't be facilitated whatsoever legally?
