The main reason why I could never get into anime is because it's major suifuel for me. Seeing these tall prettyboys getting harems of girls do anything for him and go into these adventures just make me want to blow my brain out because I'll never experience such a thing.

I'm not into watching anime that much anymore because newer ones suck (and i was more of a vidya player anyway) but the only reason i ever watch anime was because i wanted the type of life the protags usually had; it was inspiring to see and i wished to live through it.

It didn't matter if it was even something like K-on, Azumanga or anything where its female protags, no love stories and just pure slice of life. I wanted to escape from how bad things are irl and live in a different sphere.
