However, a lot of the times at least, political ideology tends to correlate very heavily with that of an individuals character which is both shaped by & a product of our worldview.

It all correlates heavily with that of demographics as well.

That’s true, but you are ignoring the fact people rally around certain ideologies (even if they have their own opinions) since humans are tribalistic.
