I purchased the 2nd game because need my shooting game fix (yeah go ahead drop your nigger jokes) because Fortnite keeps fucking up and glitching.

No clue. I have it on my xbox one but have never played it.
Afaik it got attacked by a salty hacker and he basically crashed every server back then and even wrote some autokicker software or so and the devs of the game could not do anything against it.
Basically, a single hacker killed the game, so it seems.
Not sure about today.
Try getting the first part of the series. That's pretty tough, tbh.

I'm white and all I play are military shooting games.
When I played it it was fun. The only problem is if you play it now is you'll be competing against people with thousands of hours in the game and who have been playing it for a decade. This will likely cause a bit of frustration but if you can grind out the brutal learning experience I think you can get yourself to a point where you can compete against them.
