I will TRY to engage with you without arguments or insults to make an understanding.
I will start with Marxism instead of fascism because this is where I began. My political journey began as a Marxist Leninist anti revisionist (after lots of indoctrination from watching YouTubers like Hakim, finnish Bolshevik, badempenada, exc) and I used to be a theorycel who read Marx and engels but more so Lenin and Stalin. I would say Marxism was appealing because:
A. It was extremely structured and claimed to have an exact single truth to everything. Anything falling outside of it was either a capitalist dogma or revisionism that existed to try and subvert the proletariat and stop us from advancing ourselves. (Clear boundaries against things like worship of the individual, identity politics, exc)
B. It had a logically appealing base from its dialectical materialism, it's thinking was very deterministic which is easy for people to understand
C. It offered a "revolutionary" change that people are very desperate for. The general feeling of heritage Americans is that we are living in a crumbling empire where everything is slowly getting worse, the youth are moving father away from center politics (Republicans and Democrats), everyone can tell SOMETHING is terribly wrong.
And then there is the reason I left it. Despite all the "logical" arguments I had made myself against fascists and nationalist online, there was no real life basis for them, all personal experience proved the opposite as if I had been indoctrinated into a lie. There was no comradery to be found with the people I was defending. The fascist would say "black people are violent and hate us", I would say "no they aren't, the bourgeoise are using inter-class conflict to keep us divided while they are the ones robbing you of your own labor!" But then the niggers would be like "yeah fuck yo bitch ass crakkkas we gon enslave yo yt asses".
I think most significant was my experience during highschool while I had been a Marxist. I went to a minority white school which I think most people would imagine would make me "anti racist" and such, my parents are also extremely pro BLM so it wasn't "taught" racism like the liberals say. But despite this I came out of highschool far different at the end.
The Hispanic kids would wave their own flags around the halls as proud nationalists, many of them couldn't speak English at all, some would bring knives to school and threaten people, and worst of all they were not keeping their hatred of white people (or me) hidden.
They would blurt out they hated white people during class in front of teachers and there'd be nothing but agreement. Even some fat Mexican I used to give my school lunch to (since I never wanted it) said they hated us to my face. The teachers would spout a bunch of anti white bullshit about how we commit most the crime, we are terrorist and shooters, we never invented baths and had to be shown how by niggers, exc.
The worst case was one where a teacher even made a graph on the board showing "racism" with white people at the top and then pointed at me and said "you are part of the problem". I remember that class being notable because despite the fact I did all the homework for one of the lazy Mexican kids in that class, he ended up stealing money from me.
At one point (this was when I was still a leftist) I was the only person brought into the principles office by a Jew and a Indian and called a Nazi during a debacle over jokes the class was making despite the fact the Mexican students blatantly talked about gassing Jews in front of the teachers, nothing happened to them.
In the end I basically found that all non-whites seemed to have at best a resentment for white people including me despite the fact I had not done anything to them, they were very threatening, rude, and had called me out for my race before
On top of this the ideas I had about race not being real was proven false in practice because, despite the fact I never studied and went to the exact same classes as everyone else and did all the same things, they continuously scored far lower than me on all the tests (excluding one Asian, of course.)
There was as well a point where some Mexican threatened to jump and rape me with his group, I think that was the beginning of a tipping point when I realized "these people shouldn't even be here according to my ancestors laws, I've been nothing but nice, and they want to kill me?"
The journey towards the right mainly began on twitter and discord (jfl) where I interacted with like-minded people and got into arguments. The fact it is usually rabid anti whites or just foreigners who hold contempt for us arguing against white nationalist who are defending us made things very clear, it is us vs the people who hate us (which seemed to be everywhere in real life, despite leftoids claiming "that only exist online!").
When I go into the comments of a post and it's all either black people defending antiwhite atrocity or murder like Austin Metcalf, or white people calling it evil, the side to take is very predetermined.
The actual transition out of Marxism wasn't immediate of course, it began with me reading Kims book on nationalism (how you innately love and identify with your own people), then karl otto paetel (a explicit ethno nationalist), even strasser (who was more of a egalitarian nationalist than a racialist). But once I read Dugins book and made a Twitter account it was basically clear what side I stood on from there. I am on the side of young white men against the rabid anti white niggers and rioters, the brown foreigners who want to claim my country and resources for themselves, the feminist and queers who supported Kill all men bullshit, and everyone else who attacks me for my existence.
It's easy to say "race isn't real" "just don't identify as white" but that logic doesn't work outside the Internet. In real life your uniform is the color of your skin, people mostly stick to their own and take their own side. Brown people argue in favor of brown people, black people argue in favor of black people, and finally when I was introduced to white nationalist I was shown white people who argued in favor of white people, something I had been severely lacking in and it was weighing on me.
My entire life I was told by my classmates, teachers, education books, and media that "white people caused everything bad" "white people are evil and violent" "white people are school shooters and Nazis" "white people are weak and weirdos" and so of course, when stood in front of a large community of people who said "it's okay to be white", as a white man who had been insulted myself, should I slap their hand away?
Marxist arguments were very abstract while "fascist" arguments were very personally probable and connectable to my own life. When a fascist says that Jews run everything, I began to relate because I would notice this myself. I'd be watching some Netflix or other modern show, it would have a scene where "evil white men" are killed by a fat black woman, id Google who made it, and it was a team of Jews. This repeated with every single movie, show, media article, exc I didn't like until I found that it was basically Jews producing everything that I hated about modern media
I remember a specific laughable moment when I was arguing with a Marxist about transgenderism being Jewish, they pulled out an article in defense of transgenderism and said "bet you think this was made by a Jew, huh?" Claiming it was not and then I googled it and the man behind it was in fact Jewish, causing them to crash out and get mad at me for something I hadn't even thought of checking before they mentioned it.
In essence Marxism is the ideology of read dogma from books, while fascism is the ideology of lived experience. Marxism says that race doesn't exist, real life says that blacks and Mexicans hate you for your race. Marxism says that borders and nations don't exist, real life says that Mexicans claim my land belongs to their nation and it should be annexed back with me kicked out. Marxism claims Jews are just like everyone else and antisemitism is wrong, real life says that every single movement and organization I hate is directly ran or funded by Jews once I look up the names on Wikipedia or otherwise.
In large part it is white people being fed up with the hypocrisy, disrespect, and disenfranchisement. We do not believe that we are obligated to give up our inheritance to a foreign tribe that wants to take it from us just because "we are all proletariats!", they do not hold the generosity and tolerance for us that we are expected to give to them.
I can very clearly see what is happening in the world just like you can, though you do not care because you are not white and expect us to surrender without struggle. White people are around 5% of the earth, we are becoming a minority in all of our own countries and cities, our death rate has exceeded our birth rate, and non-whites are increasingly in charge of our politics, we are in essence being conquered whether you call it that or not. White nationalism is just visual learning.
I was told that Hitler was the most evil man to exist, that he was the devil and so to be good was to be the opposite of him, and that Americas war against Hitler was the only good war we ever fought. But where has it left white people?

We are now hated minorities in our own country. The people around us do not look or talk like us, they tell us they hate us and want to take over, they say we are the evil enemy and what is wrong with society, and their misbehavior and crime is destroying all the trust and safety we have in our civilization.
So what was the alternative?

The paths laying before young white man is to either accept your defeat, that you are the villain that must be purged, and that it is fat brown people's right to take your country from you. Or to accept your inheritance. America was a white country made by white men for white men, not for all the people who hate us, and our forefathers explicitly stated this. I'm sure you've seen the popular lines like "you either believe what your ancestors said about Jews or what the Jews say about your ancestors!" And this applies to race as a whole. Brown people say America belongs to them, our founding fathers say it belongs to me. Brown people say my ancestors were evil, I say they were right. Brown people say I must pay reparations, I say they must leave.
They spit on our history, they discriminate against us while praising the foreigner, they are making a mockery of our civilization.

Tldr: the appeal to fascism is that there is no alternative. You are taking your own side. They hate me and want to take away my "white privilege" (of not being murdered and robbed by them) so I will defend myself. It is becoming increasingly hard for young white men to stay apolitical or indifferent when confronted with rising anti white hostility and race riots/looting/teen takeovers. Marxism lost its appeal to me when all its ideals about "race doesn't exist" didn't function for me in real life where race very much did exist.
