What i5 is it?

no, its to expensive

Could get a cheaper one that is still good

post what kind of i5 and how many gbs of RAM

Could get one with similar specs for cheaper

Not a good sign when it only says i5. That can mean anything and is common Jew trickery tactics. I'd look elsewhere, and 800 isn't great for a 3050 to begin with.

doesn't really say what i5 it is, and only 16gb ram might be a little limiting given the price. might be able to find better and cheaper
Like where i genuinely do not know where to look or where to even start of what's a good price or anything I only have around a 700-800 budget

what type of games do you expect to be playing? might get better value building a desktop over buying a laptop assuming you don't need to bring the computer with you to places

Looking at prices of computer parts at PCPartPicker is a start for newbies

I've wasted years on PC stuff so I just know now.

I need it for school so I would need to bring it to school with me I would build a pc if I didn't had to bring it with me everywhere but I would just be doing school work for 6 hours a day then coming back home and having it plugged in to play games

Yeah but I need a laptop not a pc for school

If you can maybe get a 100 extra you might want to look at something like the HP victus or maybe something with a bit of a better graphics card, you can probably get a 40s card for around the same price. how well it'll game will depend on the games you play too

You deserve better

Mogs gtx 1650 on my laptop

800 for just a 3050?
3050 has a rep for being a pretty bad card, I would look for something else

Niggas keep saying this and not elaborating like what else do I look for what would be good specs I could get because everyone is saying my choice is shit

try something AMD instead, they could be cheaper and have better performance than some intel CPUs.

you could find some comparisons of different hardware both AMD and Intel

That’s my bad
It depends honestly. If it’s a 3050 with only 6gb of VRAM I wouldn’t get it. But even the 8gb has flaws

The problem with the 3050 is that is doesn’t offer much of an increase over the 20 series
In my opinion it’s probably okay for 1080p (as long as it’s 8gb)

If not I wouldn’t save a little more cash for a slightly better card

In contrast a 2060 super is about 10-20% faster

I was worried about the battery life but does that mean while playing games or just casual stuff like word what I would be doing in school

also don't know if I'm using a good website I'm just using the only place that sells laptops in person in the uk

If you're really worried about battery life just plug it in a wall socket wherever you go because you are obviously gonna game at home and leave it plugged in.

A co-worker bought an MSI gaming notebook with one of the latest i7s, 16 gb of ram and a gtx 4060, dvd drive and an m.2 1 tb ssd for 850€ two months ago. LoL
