Is there really a point to saving if I don’t have a consistent income yet?

What could I be saving for? I’m stuck at a fixed amount of money for as long for as I can’t get a job. And I’ve already spent years with nothing, even if I spent the money all on food, would it matter? Besides there’s no good games or anything worth buying really. I thought of maybe buying a new pocket knife but idk.

It comes in handy if something special comes up. Always try to stack your cash at every opportunity, even if its only small amounts here and there. No need for backs either, just have a really good hiding place. Accounts can be frozen, digital money can be "lost", so cash is best.
