If your wife is also saved, she will go to heaven with you. But in heaven, there is no marriage. Matthew 22:30 - in the resurrection, people "neither marry nor are given in marriage." So marriage is seen as a temporary, earthly institution for companionship and procreation. Once in heaven, this earthly bond is broken by death.
Sexual intimacy belongs to the earthly institution of marriage + the earthly need for procreation.
After death, everyone saved is perfectly unified with God, and we will live a spiritually perfect life. So this desire for "connection" and physical "intimacy" is only temporary - and after the Lord returns if we are saved, then all these earthly desires will exist no more - and we will forever reign with him.
You may ask:
I'm sure the vast majority of us would love to be married someday to someone we find attractive, who is loyal, and loves us in their heart.
Matthew 19:11 - "But Jesus said, 'Not everyone is mature enough to live a married life. It requires a certain aptitude and grace. Marriage isn't for everyone. Some, from birth seemingly, never give marriage a thought. Others never get asked, nor or accepted.

Then by the same logic, what's the point in doing anything else in life either? We are to spread the Gospel and enjoy this short time spent on Earth - whilst putting God first. Even if this time is only temporary.if i can't have something eternally, it is worthless to try seek it

Well attraction alone usually does not satisfy a person for life, but it sure can help. It is only temporary in this life so we would like to experience it.Is that enough to satisfy a man?
Ask and you shall receive, but not always. The bible says that marriage is not for everyone:God said that He would provide man, a wife, and what if the man dies before he even receive it?
