Was on LDAR for two years, joined college and can't look at single person eye to eye without getting anxious. Except for staff I intentionally look into their eyes to not be seen as intimidated. Because I hate these professors. Walking like a kid in college...

Aspiecels assemble.

Only because I have a lazy eye.

I look then look away and talk to them in another direction because i cant stand eye contact

I can't, especially with women.

Happens to me because my ugly faces makes me have zero confidence.

How is that an aspie thing? If all your life you have been treated like shit because of your face, it's completely normal that you don't feel good when people are looking at you

I think it’s pretty common tbh, even amongst normies. After observing them I realised they barely hold eye contact with each other too

I don't look at people because I don't want to see what their facial expressions are when they look at me. I also have social anxiety so making eye contact isn't easy.

Since I wear glasses, often what I do is take my glasses off when I have to interact with a store clerk or whatever. That way I look less ugly (no glasses) and I can barely see their facial expressions since I'm half blind without my glasses.

We hate eye contact instinctively, I too struggled with it during childhood.
