Ant-depressant drugs can be good for you, in the sense that it will bring you back to a balance. There will be no sad or happy.
You just get up and do things. It can allow you to make that push and bring your life back to normality, before you finally come off them again.
I was very sad and spent every waking moment in bed for a year and a half, and after going through almost 5 different kinds of drugs I found one that worked. It allowed me to get my life back on track and now I don't need them.
Try it, there's no harm in it. Just remember the first drug they put you on might not work. It also might make you feel worse and suicidal(x2) for the first week or two before any actually positive effects start to kick in.
In the case of therapy, if you look in the mirror and think to yourself "I don't look half bad today" some days and other days you think you're a depressingly ugly mess that brings everyone around you down, then it might be worth trying out therapy. Just don't waste time. Tell them your problem is roasties. Figure out beforehand WHY your problem is roasties. If you were humiliated as a kid, or you've got approach anxiety so have never been able to work up a relationship with anyone with a cockbox that isn't your mother, work it out and let them know the details.
I realise you can just say AWALT and you just don't meet their standards, but sometimes there's a deeper issue, rather than your face.
