Is the Hikikomori Phenomenon a Lie and a Psyop?

I've been feeling real paranoid lately. One of my possible delusions is that Japanese so called hikikomori showcased in several documentaries are paid state agents tasked with putting forth propaganda designed to make already laziness prone Western men feel empowered to become or remain crazy shut-in celibates. I have no serious evidence for this other than that it wouldn't be the 1st time the Japanese were deceitful and have rooted for the West to fail.

Remember the South Park episode where the Jap govt. brainwashes Cartman and the gang into doing their dirty work through the Pokemon craze of the late 1990s? While a parody, life imitates art and Hollywood insiders often know things we don't and wink and nod at us through their programs.

Notice how all the incel articles here talk about how we hate women and are all pro mass murder, etc? Obviously that's inaccurate. But that's the spin they want.

In Japan it's supposedly similar but different. All the articles there will claim that the hikis WANT TO BE ALONE and are alone by choice. But the Japan incels say that in actual fact the women have just rejected all the men and men know it's hopeless to even try.

Because no media on earth can blame women for anything anymore as usual they lie and blame the men instead.

Yes. Media likes to show as if it was some fashionable way of modern young men who just don't like to go outside, when the cause is the political legislations in favor of women, their "empowerment" and hypergamy and huge male competition in everything.

well to be honest I think it's pretty accurate. A good chunk of the community supports vigilantes, or hERoes as they're called, and an even bigger chunk hate women. I'm not saying anything about either of these two stances, and I have my own opinions, but I think it's wrong to say incels as a whole, at least those that've made it unto the site, don't hate women, or that supporting vigilante actions is somehow a fringe view among us.
