Serious Is the game "Horizon Zero Dawn" blackpilled?

Didn't really play much of this game since I'm not into open world games. But just looking at the beginning of the story, I think it might be blackpilled. It takes place in the future, where humanity has returned to a primitive primal way of life, there are these old machines which are believed to be magical beings. In this society females hold all the power, there is a "matriarchy" and men are considered outcasts.

Could this story be a warning for the future? If females gain more power, society will fall and humanity will return to its savage ways.

I really hate playing as a foid in that game,such a beautiful world but all the weak ass foid MC could do is shoot arrows and rocks and has a pathetic melee combat moveset.I quit halfway through the game when the combat got boring and repetitve and my aim with the ps4 controller was always shit so i can never hit the important parts of a robot

I got the disk for PS4 but havnt put in in yet. Tbh I don't like the design of the protagonist but the world seems beautiful

Didn't give two shits about the story, skipped every cutscene. Before I used to care about storylines in video games but now I just don't bother. Most of the time the story in video games just becomes a convoluted mess. As for the gameplay, it was alright, easy platinum trophy.

I hated the whole female savior narrative but the game was really fun and had a fascinating world. To date it’s the only game with a female protagonist I have finished. You do make a good point though. Mother’s cradle is the matriarchy and a shithole compared to the sundown run by the high T Carja
