My understanding is that we spin. And we orbit the sun. And the solar system orbits the centre of the Milky Way. And the Milky Way along with other galaxies is gradually moving away from where the Big Bang was.

That's at least the modern scientific way of seeing it all, as far as I know.

It has references like "the sun is running to its place" but there some descriptions or astronimical phenomenom that make no sense with what modern science has discovered, like the sun does not orbit us or tbat the Earth is not flat.
