Are you sure it is?, at this point nothing would surprise me considering how much lies we have been told by governments and how easily manipulated people are.
There are some flat earth believers who have a point about some things like moon landing being fake and NASA spreading lies.

Who gives a fuck i want pussy.

Who cares?

I think it's round because why would the elites want to hide something like that from us? anyone who is a firm believer of the flat earth theory feel free to enlighten me

We don't know anything for sure, but yes I do think it's round.

I would say that it is round. I really don’t understand why the government would want to lie to us about its shape anyway

I believe the earth is square

Flat earthers are the final boss of pathological contrarians.

A lot of pathological contrarians simply have a strong desire for attention and a need to feel "unique" but lack any talent, ability, or traits to command this so they get their fix by turning everything into a debate, even if it means taking the most retarded positions you can imagine.

But then you get pathological contrarians that fall down that path because of what OP is alluding to. They realize they were lied to about a bunch of things, so they start to question everything. This is normal, but where they take it from this point determines if they become a free thinker or a pathological contrarian. A free thinker will do research or use their intuition when there is a lack thereof (or when the research is mixed or possibly biased) and figure out when and where to apply skepticism. A pathological contrarian on the other hand will end up assuming everything is the opposite out of a kneejerk reaction.

I think a lack of emotional maturity is ultimately what leads people down the pathological contrarian road. They tend to view the world the way an 8 year old would. They think the world is run by a bunch of hollywood capeshit supervillains who just say the exact opposite of the truth. The reality is, many lies are far more subtle and insidious than "IT'S THE OPPOSITE ACKSHUALLY". In rare cases they will just say the opposite of the truth, but most of the time you're dealing with one or two key details being lies, lies of omission, lies of implication, overreporting or underreporting certain types of stories, or even taking something that's the actually truth but framing/editorializing it to push a narrative. Also the real world is too boring for their childish mind that constantly needs excitement. The real world is far more mundane than a story about a bunch of shape shifting interdimensional satanic reptilians who use 5G towers to brainwash general public.

Also pathological contrarians have the opposite effect of what they want to accomplish. By promoting absurd conspiracy theories like flat earth, they're poisoning the well. It's very easy for the opposition to take a more reasonable anti-establishment/unpopular position and lump it in with the flat earth tier theories. So a lot of observers will end up becoming more trusting of the establishment/media/popular beliefs, and remain NPCs whereas they could have potentially otherwise become free thinkers.

OP, I'm not saying any of this to disparage you. I just don't want you (or anyone else) to fall down this path.

Yes. Anyone that believes otherwise is a retarded schizo. Even if it was flat why would it be some big secret?

It can be said that official version tend to be wrong most of the times.
Also, I don't believe that flat earth believers are doing a significant favor to those who promote official version, the masses tend to ridiculize an opinion that is not repeated by them whatever that idea is.
Not saying flat earth believers are right but in my opinion they deserve more respect than people who just trust "the experts" and what it's been told in media and education without questioning everything.
People usually tends to ridiculize everything that isn't repeating like a parrot what your local TV channel says.

Not this extreme you are mentioning, but I think they lie on purpose knowing how majorities work and that even if some people disagree, the authority often legitimates a wrong opinion just because it is the authority and people tend to say what authority and majority wants they to say because of fear of being alone in their opinion. TV channels could say anything they want and people would believe it because it is being said by TV channels.

Very likely round I'm just a sceptic so until I witness the earth from space I'm not about to shit on people who don't believe it's round.

In my opinion having predisposition of being skeptical and not just trust a thing because the school or media has been constantly repeating it doesn't mean "you just want attention".
What you are describing in my opinion are larpers who don't actually believe what they are saying, real flat earth believers don't say it because they want attention, they genuinely believe in it, they are saying it despite completely knowing they are gonna be ridiculized by majorities, In TV, in school, in every media, and they still defend it theory, in my opinion that deserves respect and proves conviction with an idea.
Someone being a real flat earth believer (not a larper) doesn't mean he is a contrarian, it means means he isn't a sheep who is just gonna assume something is true because an authority is saying so and he dares to express that opinion, right or wrong.

I have the same opinion.

I think they're lying to us. I don't know what Earth really looks like. However, it's not this marble hurtling through some fictional space.

The reasons for this lie are to sell us the theory of evolution, to make us feel insignificant and small, and to deny the Creator.
"You are a being that arose by chance in a vast universe, completely insignificant and small, and your life is equally insignificant in the face of billions of years of evolution." :soy:
Meanwhile, to this day, no ordinary person has flown into space, only a bunch of Freemasons and super-rich/celebrities.
Incidentally, no one has actually circumnavigated the Earth from north to south.
They won't let you explore Antarctica and have declared it a restricted zone, and strangely enough, even hostile nations can easily agree on this.
They are united in this matter. Of course, only to protect penguins, etc. :feelshaha:
Apart from that, you can see much farther than it should be possible on a sphere with a circumference of approximately 40,000 km.
Then there's the matter of flight routes, etc.
The fact that NASA is an esoteric/religious/occult organization, if you look a little closer...
The strange trajectory of rockets
And much more

It can also be added that various pseudoscientific theories, such as man-made climate change, also require the globe to "function".
If the globe lie falls, countless others that bind us will fall with it.
Perhaps the elite are even hiding landmasses from us.

You just have to think it through to the end. All the propaganda about overpopulation and resource scarcity would evaporate.

Everything they use to keep us poor and oppressed would be nothing but empty words.

Since some users are wondering what the point of such a lie would be: Take five minutes to reflect on what it means when someone lies to you about the most fundamental thing: your location.

Tell people they're free while they're in prison.
That's a brilliant move.

Fully agree, I also highly doubt those claims that earth has millions of years and space is a completely massive thing.

I mean... the moon is round, so the Earth is also probably

great answer. the last point is especially important. OP don't fall down the everything is a lie rabbit hole.

Idk at this point

But I gain nothing by altering the worldview I've had since I was a child.
