In squad you are forced to play online pvp logistics simulator, whereas in Arma 3 you can play other modes like KoTH. Most of my time on Arma 3 is spent in the editor just playing on my own and making cool shit happen.

Yeah Arma 3 has more of a sanbox and customisability aspect to it.
