IQ is kind of incorrectly measured, because what is measured for "IQ" is basically the ability to do and learn things of no real importance. so you have "successful, smart, intelligent" people, who in reality do not have a clue of anything of importance, and occupy all of their time doing mundane trivial things that will come to no value in the end.

High IQ does not mean introspective skills to be above average, or even average. The people you are referring to are mostly just copemaxxing with what they see subconsciously as the most likely way to gain the support of society and mate successfully, even if they lack self awareness at the level where they can express it.

I believe high IQ people are definitely more self aware then those who are low IQ. However, that doesn't mean that high IQ causes increased self awareness. Correlation doesn't equal causation type of thing.
