Cheap and mass produced shit. Sometimes the stuff works sometimes it's trash. All of it was mass made.

Russian shit tend to lag in quality and features that require chips and digitalization.
Non computer stuff like AKs are decent. Things like thermal sights and radar have poor resolution.

Soviet technology was designed to be cheap, mass-produced, and effective, as was the military doctrine, which emphasized cheapness and mass production over comfort or quality. Russia's modern military products lack these qualities, making them ineffective. They have already proven to be of poor quality during the war in Karabakh, where the Pantsir system was ineffective against the Bayraktar, and they have also shown their weaknesses in Ukraine.
