We often have a tendency to believe what people tell us.
We don’t want to believe that we are getting lied to.
But, usually, we are getting lied to.
It’s often not from malice, it’s just that the person does not know what they are talking about.
Or they are just repeating what they heard from someone else.
My best advice when dealing with other people……..is to assume that they are lying about everything.
Don’t be lazy with your information.
It usually takes less than 2 minutes to look up the facts from an official source.
For example, I look up laws all the time…….on the government site.
The idiots around here are always talking about what a laws says, or does not say.
In just a few minutes, I can read the law myself.
And you know what?
The idiots are almost always wrong about what the law actually says.
I apply this rule to everyone and everything:
They are lying until proven truthful.
