Experiment Is partial wageslaving worth it to get SSDI?

Since SSI doesn't pay much I'm conflicted whether I should work for a few years and then get SSDI.

Rent and government assistance takes so much that SSI is unbearable.

You can find rent that takes 20-30% of your SSI.

If you're able to work, that's going to make getting any disability more difficult.
