Maybe. A final end goal I've considered is moving to Alaska and becoming a hermit over there.

Not if it means giving up mains electricity, potable tap water, a flushing toilet and a postal address.

thought about doing the same
Done it.
Still am,
Sort of...

seems to be the best way to live, far away from normie nonsene and all the other bullshit
Yes it is, but its rough if you're old.

very true but i don't want to get that old I'll probably die of health concerns before I'm that old but who knows

When I was backpacking in Gates of the Arctic National Park I met a guy who did exactly what you described. He was living off the grid in a small cabin. Once I met him though I tried to stay away as he was pretty crazy.

I'm considering it more and more myself. Soyciety is just so tiresome and enraging

Don't know where I would do it though. I've considered Alaska, Siberia and even some remote Pacific Islands like Micronesia or the Northern Mariana Islands

It is possible, and it doesn't have to be drastic. You can say that you want to live off the grid, and nowadays it's not questioned like it was 20 years ago.
