I don't even know what the fuck is wrong with me. I don't feel depressed, sad or lonely like I usually do. But at the same time I don't feel happy either. I'm normally really horny, but now my libido is almost non-existent. It feels like nothing matters. In the back of my mind somethings telling me that I have some sort of underlying illness like a hormonal imbalance. Do any of you guys go through periods where you just feel numb to everything?

Depressioncel

This might be post depression actually, once you go through a depression phase you'll usually don't feel shit and become low inhib. You'll regain your emotions eventually.

But if this happens enough time, it'll become a permanent state. At least in my experience and those who had long term depression told me

Nothing DOES matter... Thats the truth...

No, it's called anhedonia. It's pretty serious.

Yeah I think you're right. I've felt this way before and I was back to my depressed self in about a week :)

Enjoy it while you can I guess, I'm bipolar as well so I usually have mania during this time.
I hate it when your depression sneaks up on you, you'll eventually know when you are becoming depressed and might develop a plan or routine while in this state. ;)

It doesn't get better, you get better at dealing with it, it is still utterly miserable though.

Yeah that’s a good way to look at it. Come to think of it I wouldn’t mind always being this way.
