Agree with this generally speaking. Also where I am (US) it’s basically normal to be obese. Somehow it just looks out of place these days to be skinny as a guy especially.

Depends how skinny tbf. Underweight and obese realistically probably better to be standard obese not morbidly ofc. But again it overall depends on frame & how badly you are in these 2 categories.
Like for example having a skinny fat build is ofc going to be way worse than someone with wide clavicles and a narrow waist / narrow hips

In terms of respect, again, I still feel it's better to be skinny. Respect almost always ties into SMV and biologically we are wired to not like fat people as we associate them with hoarding food. Plus they tend to emit more BO.
