Serious Is hope foolish?

Obviously as incels, we've learned by now (most of us anyways) that getting sex is completely, 100% hopeless.

But now I'm beginning to think that having hope in anything at all--whether it be a better job, better health, a better future, or even humanity itself--is foolish.

What do you think? Is a general hopelessness in all things the more rational outlook?
