Similar, I play video games, watch Netflix, YouTube, I go to work. I forget my predicament for most time of the day.

What are the specs of your PC btw?

I recently spent a lot of neetbuxx on it, around 1,900 dollars.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070
Intel Core i9-12900KF
32GB ram

Nice specs. A powerful gaming PC is necessary to cope.

Not too good. I'm RomanGladiatorDietMaxxing and have eaten too much barley flakes and now immobile and suffering due to excessive bloat.

Bread all day?

Bread all day?
No. I've stopped eating bread a while ago. I had been eating wheat biscuits and whole grain pasta in the past but stopped and switched to oats and barley. Oats in the morning, barley at night.

What I do is make a soup of frozen mixed veg, chickpeas and barley flakes. Barley is a whole grain but it's not wheat, it's barley. It has more soluble fibre.

I blitz the soup into a porridge. I've put too much barley in it. I think 25-30 grams will work not 100g. I can't even walk right now just lie down due to the massive bloat.

Roman gladiators were called barley men as they ate just barley and broad beans with veg now and then when it was available. They had active lives but I don't so should have used less barley.

Bookmarked tbh.
Do you feel better following this diet?

Yes I do. Much better. Soluble fibre makes a huge difference. I feel strong and sometimes try to push a wall down. I've just overdone it with the barley flakes today. I'll stay with 25g in future, not 100g.

For breakfast I have 40g oats, 400 ml full fat milk (Peak powder milk from Amazon or local African shops stock it - don't need to visit shops as often), 100g frozen raspberries (defrost overnight), one brazil nut, tablespoon of pumpkin seeds, and sometimes skyr yogurt for more protein.

The chickpeas and barley create a combined protein anyway. I add ricotta cheese sometimes to the soup. Multivitamin tablet and 2 400 IU Vitamin D in winter.

I add a teaspon of extra virgin olive oil to the soup and pepper and it's good to eat. It's cheap, quick to cook and healthy. I used barley flakes as they cook quicker (12 min cook the veg and chickpeas, then add barley for another 12 min, then blitz). I had some pepper to the soup and that's it.

I batch cook the soup to last 4 days and keep in the fridge.

I've been sleeping much better and have more energy. I think whole grain wheat is a mistake. Avoid it. I get the barley flakes from Amazon.
