This. Technically I learned to speak my own native language first, but I forgot it by the time I was like 4. Today I only know curse words and threats
English is a pretty easy language to learn though, so there's that. Italian is straight forward too but it's probably harder for a non-native speaker to learn.
English is my first language, although I also knew Czech from my mother, albeit only the basics, and I never had the opportunity to improve my language skills. Today I can still understand and read it, but I can hardly speak it.

I am a blatant ESLcel, languagecel and speechcel. I don't know if it was from bullying or if it is because of something innate in me (probably both), but I have great trouble with formulating anything. I would describe it like the thinking part of my brain not being fully connected to the language part. The connection between my brain and mouth isn't very good either.
