The Anglo-Saxon English ethnic myth

Why do Englishmen only claim their Anglo-Saxon ancestors? Let’s assume you’re from East Anglia/the South East, the area with the highest concentration of Germanic DNA, your estimated Anglo-Saxon DNA is ~60% and that’s the upward estimate. Before you cry, yes obviously some individuals will have more than that but if we look at England as a whole the average Englishmen has around 10-40% Anglo-Saxon DNA with the rest predominantly originating from the Insular and Continental Celts. Yet when you hear English white supremacists talk they only acknowledge the Anglo-Saxon and Germanic DNA when chances are if you’re English, you’re more Celtic than you are Germanic.

So, may someone explain why? Do they deem the Celts as inferior?

Sure, but initally I’m pretty sure the Celts invited them over.

Plus the Anglo-Saxons lost to the Normans so does that mean they’re inferior to them?

Because the culture and language of the English is Anglo-Saxon in origin. It’s not necessarily that Celts are deemed inferior (the only people I’ve ever seen argue that Celts aren’t white have been brown groypers and similar individuals)

Yes I know, but there’s variation within races. There are genetic, cultural and historical differences between Germanics, Slavs, Celts, Illyrians, Iberians, Hellenes etc. I don’t see your point.
