It's obvious we're at the start of ai Revolution, I've started coding 2 months ago and would consider myself still a beginner, after seeing what just chatgpt could do alone mogs me to oblivion right now and ik i won't learn enough in time for gpt4 to completely wipe the floor of my existence. All i wanna know is if there is some niche coding field i can get into that the ai won't cuck from me. Give me the raw blackpill truth boyos

Yes, yes and yes. Learn coding, learn AI.

every codecel says yes so i guess yes.

get into some other area in the cs field. like project management or something. there are tons of options. coding is the first thing that's going to be automated because it's language based. they were already getting rid of it by outsourcing it to 80 iq pajeets who do it 70% as good as salaried white guys.

It's a good cope even if it gets replaced

Iam trying but at this rate would iam worried by the time iam "employable" gpt4 or 5 got me beat and iam left hanging to dry like new digital artists

If job security is what you are worried about, become an AI developer.

Any good coder would be implementing AI into their work flow to make themselves more productive. Right now, AI is a tool not a foe (that may change later).

Yes, yet there is one condition that determined your success in this area.

1) Are you Asian?

we must arrest the singularity

I'd suggest you hurry up, gain those few yrs in experience before chatgpt fully takes over (anyone but the top architect designers/managers)

At that point most people would be out of a job wouldn't they

I'd suggest that you before decide to just quickly start an extensive project, make sure you've completed the initial planning and conceptual idea phases of your "Game", you'll encounter plenty of trial and error that will help you revise your capabilities and develop a clearer perception of Game-Development altogether. Utilize a Flowchart/Diagram to convey the various aspects of functionality within the game itself, research the required programming languages and consistently check for flaws during the Paper-To-Program process as you'll need to revise at a constant rate, depending on the overall size of your project. That would be my suggestion.

If you are going to learn a programming language, I would suggest that you choose the language based on its viability for your given situation. It is not necessarily the language itself that matters entirely; it is the programming concepts, problem-solving capability, and self-determination that creates the eventual result.

"Programming In Lua" is a rather good book with valuable and is also available online. http://www.lua.org/pil/contents.html You should likely focus on the theoretical aspects before attempting to construct a game; logical-flow is critical for success.
