Title.

I think I am because I have a very ethnic and unpronounceable name. I am the only person with my name in the entirety of the United States. I think even if I was average or even above average looking, I would still struggle because of it. I believe there is a certain and pretty high looks threshold that differentiates a namecel and a male who is considered "exotic" to women.

My name is not ethnic, but people keep mistaking it many times, even though its a fucking short and easy name to pronounce. Also happens a lot with my surnames

My name is Brett so no, don’t think so.

I have to spell out my name every time I pick up my order at restaurants. My name is also unnecessarily feminine. Not sure what my parents were thinking back then.

How ethnic is my last name, Zakir?

It's very ethnic, but it has the benefit of being short, and a decent amount of people would be able to spell it out correctly if you told them your last name without writing it. I think long, ethnic, unpronounceable first and last names turn off women, especially Western women, if you are below a certain looks threshold.

I have a short-ish yet unpronounceable first name, but an extremely long last name that almost sounds like it's Indian (people have even asked me before), but I'm actually just Middle Eastern.

Namemogged to oblivion. Every Brett I knew was a Chad.

The worst possible ethnic name is Muhammed: @dominic is actually right about unless you're some thugmaxxed Pakistani or Chaddam.
You will 100% get Allahu Ackbar Jokes thrown at you.

Yes I have an ethnic name

I have a Christian name in a majority Muslim area :feelshmm:

Both my first and last name are very common. Hundreds of people have my exact name. :feelsrope:

I always thought you were black.
Anyway I don't know what to feel about my name. Its very unique where I live and modern sounding. But its also feminine and since nobody uses that name I have to spell it every time to other people. I certainly wish I had a more masculine name

Nah, I actually have the same name as an internationally known athlete. Can't complain.

i get mogged by name .

Muhammad truely opens doors for you - but I have two names and people call me with my second name but on official accounts:feelsseriously:

I have an extremely rice name, so foids know to stay far away from me by default. :feelshaha:

So change it. What's the problem?

I have a cumskin name yet i am a shitskin :feelsbadman:

Ethnic name but I'm sure most westerners should be able to pronounce it easily
