Music has become so boring. I barely get the dopamine rush from it. There was a time when I would listen to music for hours, while one song is more than enough for me nowadays. One more cope that I have run out of.

I still enjoy it sometimes. It's actually one of the few things I still feel I can genuinely enjoy instead of it just being a cope to numb the shitty depression baseline state. But I'm picky with music, I find the vast majority of songs bad or bland.

based, most modern music sucks and is about sexhaver problems that none of us should have to deal with hearing it

I got into running and it came alive again. Also it never died when drinking but it's risky for me to do that.

Dude same here I don’t even get the desire to listen to music anymore, I used to be a metal head but you could play any type of music and it will pester me until it’s turned off.

Ya I just play video game soundtracks while i do other stuff sometimes don't really cling to anything or really care that much. Maybe it's part of getting old maybe it's about the worldview communicated in that music. Like i hate that "single woman" type music where she sings about nothing, and now more and more music is giving me the same annoyance. It's like being in a daycare but you don't have that hormonal cushion to keep you from killing the kids for not shutting up. I still get kind of pumped by that Alex Minessian song you know the one even though I'm not about that kind of answer- just something in the raw energy feels real still.
