Why are so many incels anti-natalist? They're probably hurting that they can't reproduce, and to cope, they tell themselves they're actually morally superior. It's like when Marcus Aurelius said, "[R]emove 'I’ve been harmed' and the harm goes as well." Anti-natalists pretend involuntary childlessness hasn't hurt them to feel better.

They can also go on r/antinatalism and r/childfree and see many people who don't have kids. Anti-natalist incels tell themselves, "If anti-natalists can endure childlessness, I should be able to too." Anti-natalists even seem to claim it's better to be childless.

I feel like this cope is weak. There's a possibility you can reproduce. For example, you can win the lottery and get enough money to hire a commercial surrogate. The possibility can give you hope. An incel can tell himself, "I won't commit suicide because there's still a chance I might reproduce." Reproduction would bring so much happiness, it's worth all the past pain of loneliness times a million - even a trillion times. Because reproduction and parenthood are altruistic, you can focus on your potential future family instead of your own misfortune. I feel like this cope is more effective. Anti-natalism doesn't bring me joy.

I used to want my own family with a wife and children to take care of, but ever since I realized that this would never happen I became somewhat anti-natalist. Yes it is a cope, but at the same time anti-natalism also prevents further suffering for people that would otherwise be mistreated and humiliated by society due to their race, height, and face.
