Do you typically play graphics-intensive games? I would say 1440p can be a challenge for an RTX 3060 in certain games.
But if you are willing to lower the settings if needed or if you are playing light games, you'll be fine.

Id say the most intense games i played were 7 Days to die, Battlefront 2 and Watch Dogs 2, so most games i play arent super new. But i would like to play Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which is supposedly graphics intense.

The game itself was fun but holy shit i never played such a terribly optimisd game in my life except for PayDay 2 maybe. The game crashed so goddman often and it also wouldnt even launch at times. Ubisoft Launcher is complete dogshitOne of the most fun games I ever played

No it's dumb to buy a rtx 3060 just save your money and buy a rtx 5060 ti 16gb model or buy rx 9600xt 16 gb and make sure it's 16 gb

I dont need the best of the best GPU since i dont play many modern games with super high requirements. I just want an upgrade from my current GPU without having to pay the price of a small car

3060 isn't much of an upgrade from 5600XT. Maybe 20% better raster performance. You'd be disappointed.
For a worthwhile 50% performance gain, you'll have to get at least 5060Ti/9060 XT performance, and that's $400+ so I understand not wanting to do that.

Don't bother spending like $400 for a GPU that barely plays any games. Just buy an xbox S or ps5. They are almost as cheap as the GPU, but they play games in 4k as well as a $1,500 gaming PC

Comparing 4K Dynamic to 4K Native and not explaining the details is pointless. I can run 4K "Dynamic" with my PC and get stupid high framerates.

the 5060 ti 16gb is is entry mid level and rx 9600xt 16 gb is entry level you are wasting your time in current time buying a 3060 when the 5060 ti 16gb will last you more or buy the 9600xt 16 gb unless you don't mind waitting for better deals since there barely any point of upgrading unless your gpu don't have built in ray tracing core
a 400 dollar gpu destory your console they are sold on loss since amd making a apu that can catch up with a gpu is really expensive and you dont need to spen 1,500 dollar is called learn to do resarch but console are for causal who dont like those stuff

I wish myself that PC gaming was actually better than console because that way I can upgrade my PC ( I have an i9 12900 K and a 3070 but I see no point in upgrading my GPU, since it would play the same as a console unless I wanted over 60 FPS, which would be pointless for me honestly) and use it as a hobby, but at this point it would be a waste of $$$.
