Thinking of getting a pet to help with loneliness.

Any petcels chime in on if it helps or is it just a nuisance

my cat I had for like 14 years died a couple months ago and it was pretty sad

if you can handle that then i think its worth getting one

I hated cleaning up his shit though

If you have the time and money to take care of one

Cats are good for your mental health

If you ever get a pet , make sure to get the pet spayed or neutered.

Yeah, my mental health went on a downhill trajectory after my dog died when I was 17. Pets aren’t Chad-only or superficial like foids, which is why they’re the best cope

if you have the time and money. Pets are expensive as fuck unless it's like a gerbil or goldfish. I consider them a luxury and find it retarded for most people to have them, especially dogs, because most people are broke and do a shit job keeping a dog. Cats are better for most people, especially low energy depressed people like us, and bunnies are even cheaper but rabbits aren't really the same as cats and dogs though you can cuddle them too and they act similar to cats. rabbits are pretty much like cats except they look derpier and their piss and shit doesn't smell like satan's basement, and you can litter train them too.

I plan on getting a dog this year because my childhood dog was abused and probably killed by my mom (the empathetic gender jfl) and i finally feel stable enough with my government housing to have a dog now
