Interesting strides against sexual and violent content in video games

What do you guys think about this? The push for ID to access sexual content and RFK's investigation into violence in games.

I know a lot of guys on here are very passionate about child safety and crude content on Roblox and I guess other platforms like Minecraft and Discord, so I feel like these moves are a good thing.

It should make kids safer and reduce harmful things they might be exposed to and that are harming society in general.

I believe that using IDs to restrict access to such content is unnecessary and a breach of privacy and anonymity.

I believe parents should be responsible for what their child consumes online.

I do not want to have to hand over my ID to access such content as this allows my online activity to be easily connected to my real identity by companies and government. I do not want my ID at risk of being leaked in the event of a security flaw being exposed. I do not want my ID in the hands of companies which will likely sell my sensitive information off to data brokers.

The introduction of ID verification is extremely cucked. Parents should be held responsible.

The death of videogames at the expense of pretending their intentions are "Out of safety reasons." They simply don't want you to have privacy, you should be able to connect the dots as they've quite literally been doing this in the UK for quite some time now.
