You guys do realize that the system of assigning status based on the number of posts you've made on this forum is deeply flawed, right?

For example, these words I'm typing now count as 1 post. If someone types "tbh" on a thread, that also counts as 1 post. Yet, I clearly put in much more time and effort to type these words than he did. Yet, we're considered equals.
So, someone can shitpost 10,000 times, and be regarded as higher status than me, even though my posts are higher quality than his. Go figure.

This forum basically rewards shitposting.

We have idiots like insomniac who will leave a 0% effort post just for the sake of tallying a post count, even if they have nothing to say on the matter, sometimes even being too low IQ to even address it.

I have an idea for this forum. How about, instead of rewarding users for the number of posts they've made, they're instead rewarded for the number of words they type? Makes more sense, no?
It's still not a perfect system, but better than what they've got now.

That's fine, but it will take a lot more effort and creativity to conjure up 4 paragraphs than 4 words. Not only that, many members are simply too lazy and inarticulate to type essays, anyway.

Why would you want to leave a low IQ response with a brainlet post like "tbh" or "its over" on a high IQ thread.

Here's an idea, if you don't have an input on the matter or nothing of worth to contribute, then dont leave a brainlet post. At that point it just becomes bait and encourages other users to do the same with the low effort.
