Generally most people inherit something that propells them through life, be it looks, family connections and status, money, an above average IQ or a particular Talent to name a few. Often even inheriting only one of these will be enough for your life to be okay. Many if not most incels do not inherit any of these though.

Same, my parents in theory could have created meaningful connections for me that would have benefited me in multiple ways later on in life but they used the connection they had purely for their own momentary gain and nothing ever came of it. You see it in functioning families all the time that the father or even the mother connects with people, be it family uncles or even outsiders to build up a network of connections they but also their kids can benefit from (getting into workplaces, some even finding a possible partner, just an overall community really). In my family that was never a thing even though my parents had every possibility to do so.

Your situation sounds quite similar judging by what you wrote. We grew up in a low trust family environment.
