indie games these days is like fast food that lasts you for a month after it's finished you move on to the "next big indie game" that again dies after a month rinse and repeat.
That's what killed most of the open world franchises. Assassin's Creeds are good example, they went from 20-25 hours to 60+ hours of nothingThat's not a bad thing, I don't want my games to last forever. I want to play it and then move on to the next one. I don't like videogames with 6 trillion hours of content, they tend to get repetitive
