On my lunch break I decided to buy one of those resealable 24oz monster cans to keep me going. I go to ring it up and the Indian guy smirked a bit and said something to his coworker in Hindi. I don’t speak it but I overheard him saying “81 grams” in English so it was clear he was making fun of the sugar content.
I don’t really care that much but something I REALLY hate about bilingual people (usually immigrants that do this) is when they switch to their native tongue to talk shit about someone while standing right in front of them. I’ve had this happen to me too many times while working customer service. That shit drives me up the wall, don’t be a pussy and hide behind a language barrier, especially when you’re not even in your native country
