Oh man thank you so much it was that all the time
Mr. J take the wheel!

The heretics want to change the meanings. Like look at JW/WTC for example taking out the end of Matthew just to fit their agenda.

At the end of the day there is only 1 correct interpretation, and it is rather easy to understand - Read KJV
thank you

I'm in favor of it

isn't proselytizing banned in this forum?
  • Do not troll, bait, proselytize, post platitudes, mass tag users, or necropost (i.e., do not post in inactive threads older than ~1 month unless you have something to contribute - plain agreement, mere quoting, and meaningless one-liners don't qualify as contributing).

This isn't proselytizing, in fact the bible tells us not to do that. But instead spread the message to every person and plant the seed. We can't force someone into a religion, but only encourage them and show them the light beyond the tunnel - it's their choice whether or not they walk into it.

We are starting conversations

@thevineyardworker I will compose a thread now in regards to the importance of attending church. I'll still post it in this sub forum and tag the same users as last time

english is not my native language, so i checked the dictionary:
Collins: If you proselytize, you try to persuade someone to share your beliefs, especially religious or political beliefs.
Cambridge: to try to persuade someone to change their religious or political beliefs or way of living to your own:
He was also remarkable for the proselytizing zeal with which he wrote his political pamphlets.
Television has provided the evangelists with yet another platform for their proselytizing.
Merriam-Webster:
intransitive verb
1: to induce someone to convert to one's faith
2: to recruit someone to join one's party, institution, or cause

You guys are definitely proselytizing. Doesn't matter what words you use, "share the good news", "plant seeds", etc.

Make it about the fellowship that Christ offers, the appeal will be greater

What is wrong with offering hope in Jesus Christ to young men?

What's wrong is it violates the community rule. also some users may have ptsd connected to religion. Again,

I understand there is a language barrier, but we are not.
If that was the case, then theoretically nobody could uphold an opinion regarding anything.

By the way, this is the definition; "Proselytize means to induce someone to convert to a new faith, party, cause, or belief system"

What do you mean exactly? What are some points?
1 Corinthians 1:9 1 John 1:3 John 15:4–5 Hebrews 10:24–25 Romans 12:5 Philippians 2:1 Being a Christian offers you instant friendship opportunities with other believers 1 John 1:6–7

Who cares? They can put us on ignore if they want, we aren't stopping them.

The islamists have done the same on the forum - literally advocating for the killing of infidel women (as stated in the qur'an) and we can't uphold this?

Should we then ban all posts about violence, rape or animal abuse? It wont happen because this is a free speech forum. I think such users can ignore our offending posts.

i am not arguing christian missionary content is worse than violence, rape and stuff, or Islam is better than Christianity.
as far as i know ( i don't use this forum heavily), there is no proselytizing effort from the Islamist side. discussion of religion and/or politics (e.g. "Why Islam is the best religion", "Why the West should adopt sharia law") is another thing.
Violence, misogynism and other stuff is part of the incel culture. Christianity is not, because it's bluepill.
Yes we can ignore you guys, but this can be excuse for any abuse of this forum.

Abuse sir? Do you find that hope in Jesus is abusing a platform designed for community between young men looking to miserate with one another? You have a savior who loves you very dearly and with open arms is waiting for you to come to him. He can make you whole

We are showing people the truth, there is no inducing or forcing about this. If you have an issue with it feel free to contact Master.

From what I remember, the Bible describes salvation/being in heaven as being "with Christ". If this is true, how can Christianity appeal to people who don't want to be with anyone/any being? (Those who want to be left alone or have their spirit/essence destroyed).

Also I don't understand the punishment of those who don't accept Christ. Those who don't become Christians have their souls sentenced to eternal torment? Why not just destroy their souls when they die? Hell seems more like a threat or tactic to convince conversion to me.

What do you mean

Some Christians would argue that your soul is destroyed when you die without accepting Christ

The KJV is horse manure.
...and i'm guessing you've read it?
It is the only true interpretation of His Word without the simplification.

Don't pray for me, pray for the girl who rejected me.

She seems to be in a household where she doesn't feel safe.
