Just saw a thread about iq and wanted to see what the average iq is here.

this site has good iq tests that measure different types of cognitive functions so whoever is interested can try it out.

I got between 100-110 in those tests so i’m about average/slightly above average :feelsjuice:

my iq is 400

I'm not taking the test rn cuz I'm tired but I got 112 for my very first proper one and i get like 126 in the last one i took since ur score improves the more you do it

so real iq prob 112

which reflects for me I'm extremely mogger at maths with nothing much else

Which one
you can take figure weights and digit span if you want to finish it as fast as possible. I wouldn’t recommend the verbal comprehension tests if you’re a non native english speaker.

so far it's this. apprently I was a subhuman for digits forward even though I thought I did fairly well on those.

I just took the "verbal IQ" ones, which are my strongest ones.

I only did the Fluid Reasoning ones and I scored 125 for every subtest except for Figure Weights where I only scored 120.

I would probably score lower in that one

i wouldn’t say so, they measure differentl types of intelligence. They aren’t accurate if you want to measure your full intelligence but they’re accurate if you want to test parts of your intelligence.

i'm surprised by this answer, even if online iq tests don't "mean much"

How do u know it’s accurate cause ive heard before the more iq tests you do the better score you get which therefore makes it kind of a flawed system

if you haven’t done any before then that shouldn’t be a problem. But what you said also applies for professional iq tests administered by psychologists. The more you practice something, the better you will be at it.

105. My score is generally in that 100 - 110 range when I do these online tests. Being average iq is pretty discouraging because the average person is a moron :feelskek:

Tried the symbol search one got 140

I took it last summer. 134 IQ (143 verbal, 145 working memory, 119 fluid reasoning, 114 visual spatial, 85 processing speed). I think the 85 processing speed is because I have OCD and tend to double and triple-check my answers, so I don't go fast enough.

Oh ok so i guess since its my first time actually taking an iq test an not skipping through it should be fairly accurate

Do you feel like you're in the top 2% of intelligence or do you think that this website inflates scores?

it definitely doesn’t inflate. The online iq tests that inflate scores are the ones in which you have to pay. They do that so they boost your ego. This one is completely free and they gain nothing from it. Also those tests were created by complete autists that obsess over iq. They created these tests by copying professional iq tests. So it’s pretty accurate.

yeah the first result is the most accurate

Were you generally one of the smartest students in your classes? If not, then your IQ is most likely under 120.

Yeah I also got top 1% on the SAT and PSAT and other standardized tests in high school. I was a National Merit scholarship winner here in America (not just a National Merit Finalist but a winner, there were maybe 2000 in America). I got a bunch of other academic honors but I'm still a KHHV + touchless + danceless.

High IQ is cope.

eh i wouldn’t say that means much. A lot of it depends on how much effort you’re willing to put in. I saw average intelligence students get the best grades because they were willing to put in 6-8 hours of their day into studying. I never struggled with school but it’s basically memorizing formulas. Math, physics and chemistry were all just memorising formulas to me. Although it requires creativity as well.

On the symbol search score I got 115, the second one was 125

TRVTH. It doesn’t even guarantee success tbh, it guarantees that you get a comfy job like a desk worker but the people who make it to management and above are cutthroat ass lickers. Unless you wanna get into research then it won’t benefit you in any way.

Yeah I didn't want management (too much social interaction plus you have to fire people or give them bad reviews, I don't like confrontation). But I got the comfy desk job where I could look at the Internet while I "worked."

I did a research internship in 11th grade at a hospital, but I was bullied and treated like shit by my female supervisor there which kind of gave me trauma and made me turn my back on research and medicine (I thought I wanted to be a doctor at the time). This female supervisor was so evil...she would insult me to my face all the time saying stuff like "we're going to stupid town today, aren't we?" Complaining about her to her boss didn't help at all.

honestly that would be my personal hell. I have been diagnosed with adhd so i get bored easily and i need to move at all times. Sitting at a desk pretending to work would make me blow my brains out.

probably for the best, anyone who studied medicine says they regret it and hate it. Long hours, stressful environment and you need to update your knowledge of medicine at all times. A lot of people get into it for the status and money and then realise how much work it actually is. Unless you’re really passionate then best to avoid it.

Yeah that's understandable. For me its was basically my perfect type of job. I didn't have to talk to people very much and I could just look at the Internet. I still got bullied by my boss for 2 years which destroyed my mental health though.

Yeah I didn't really want medicine anyway. I only said I did when I was a kid to impress people and because my parents wanted me to be a doctor.

If I had been a Chad/chadlite or a female I wouldn't have been treated like shit by that woman, I'm pretty sure.

thanks. Didn't help me much in adulthood, but it's better than being 80 IQ in most ways I think.
I feel it, when your life turns out a certain way it doesn't matter the score. What matters at that very moment where you are at.
