The job market moving online has made it really easy for them to reject you, and has given them so many options for candidates. Most of them use software that instantly rejects you if your resume isn't flawless. Even if you get an interview you're probably up against dozens of other candidates who might be more qualified. The level of competition for jobs that aren't even that great has gotten nuts. In Boomer times you could get most jobs with a smile and a firm handshake.

The problem is that nowadays jobs require a set of skills most incels dont posses and are unable to aquire such as being charismatic with the customer, starting conversations and socializing with both the customer and the other employees. unfortunately most of us are too high inhib to do these things and therefore are unable to aquire most jobs. maybe with the covid-19 pandemic more online jobs and home-offices have risen, incels might be able to find jobs like those. but even so since the HR department is almost 98% of the time dominated by females incels are rarely selected instead a much less prepared chad with a hit CV will get the job instead due to his looks. NEETing is the way to go for incels imo. covid buxx are a good bit of help tbh and you can always leech off of your parents.

If you don't have any sort of 'mission-critical' specialist knowledge as an incel it's over you in the workplace.
