my mom stopped asking a few years back. That's when it hit me really hard that intimacy and a happy life just probably isn't in the cards for me
My dad had stopped asking a few years after my 20s though so he kinda knew already. Just took my mom longer to accept the truth

I can't recall my dad asking me about that. As for my mother, well she asks me sometimes, when we can speak to each other but I usually just get the fuck out of the conservation when she starts.
