Barren walls and only essentials, no plants, a layer of dust on the bookshelf and windowsill, when there is no one that visits you realize the reason people hang shit isn't because "they like it" or "want to express their individuality" it's a display meant for others, I have no need for trinkets bar function for that reason alone.
When my house is empty I feel scared because of anxiety disorder. My meds help but this feeling of insecurity remains. I honestly don't know how I'm going to live if my parents are gone.
