I dropped out i wouldn't recommend tho. if you're already a well oiled machine when it comes to school keep going, once you think o shit i need a house, that comes from a well paying job, being a slave for minimum wage only goes so far. me living in a small town i have limited options while being under the roof of my parents and since i vowed to myself i rather die than return to minimum wage i better get my trucking license or go into higher education. i'd have to go back and re learn shit get my GED done and then go into higher education. in short i'm screwed. and trucking is the only hope for a future since i can't focus or learn for some reason just the thought of having to re learn shit i forgot, makes me fill lost. I'm always on borrowed time while living with my parents.

Use the buy a house as fuel for getting it done.
