I was reading some old threads on this site and it brought back quite a few memories. In my junior year of highschool I had accumulated ~25 absences, only 2 of which were actual sick days. The sad part is that I actually enjoyed learning yet I had to skip school due to the fact that I literally had 0 friends. I felt like putting a bullet in my head and going ER every time the teacher announced group work and to this day, 2 years later, the words "find a partner ..." still give me intense anxiety.

Thankfully, my senior year of high school was mostly online due to covid so I managed to get by, because if it wasn't I probably would've dropped out or roped.

What about you guys?

lol i felt that

I kinda liked it because then I could sit there and daydream while everyone else did the work

Wow, I'm mirin your low inhib then. I always felt like absolute shit when everyone was partnered up and the teacher had to pick a group to throw me into. :fuk:

I would even try to work super hard in order to try and "make up" for the fact that they didn't want me there, lol I was super bluepilled back then I should've just let them do all the work. :smonk:

Partially true.

I skipped almost every day.

My teacher manually paired me with a group of foids for a project once in high school.

The foids didn't want me to participate, so I left and hung out with my only friend who happened to be in the class (the teacher intentionally separated us because she was a bitch).

In the end when the group got their grades, I got the same grade as them; so I got a great grade and did none of the work. :dab:

can relate. as a socially awkward/ anxious lonercel there was nothing about school that i detested more than assigned groupwork. it was always nightmarefuel for me. also: skipping whenever i had to hold a speech/ presentation (about a book or whatever)

I legit stopped going to my chemistry classes altogether because we kept getting put in groups.

Standing there while people pick their partners was embarrassing as fuck. [UWSL]Even when no one picks you, the teacher still expects you to partner up with someone[/UWSL]

I used to do that too until I started gummaxxing which would help stop my heading from shaking and I would just look at the back of the room while presenting :smonk:

The amount of times people were like, "Oh no, not him." It's fucking ridiculous. Although back in school I'd shower like twice a week and had very bad hygiene (still do cause I LDAR and rotmaxxer).

Fuck no, by the time I was in high school, those group projects became my only (desperate) way to try and make friends.

But then I usually wound up still friendless, and doing most of the work for the project, anyway. :feelsUgh: I was a slow learner, socially. :feelsseriously:

Did your teacher pick your groups? Lucky bastard :feelsUgh:

But yeah I relate with that second part, my bluepilled ass used to bring gum to class to try and make friends (should've brought gum but with an 'n' instead of an 'm' :feelsLSD::feelsLSD::feelsLSD:)

Nah, I was a nerd and went to class. High school group projects were alright, college group projects made me want to rope.

Hid from gym class by going to the off limits areas in the library to literaturecope

Sometimes, but not usually. Usually, the teachers would tell the students to pair off or group up, and then I'd always be standing out as the kid that nobody wanted to work with, at which point the teachers would usually, but not always, force someone or some group to accept me as their work mate. But not always. Sometimes, I was left to work on group assignments on my own. :feelsUgh:

Teachers that assign group work are usually foids because they want their fellow femoid youngsters to leech off cucks for free grades.

I skipped classes a lot throughout my school years ever since I first skipped in the 2nd grade, group work or not. Didn't like school much overall

I skipped gym class because I was always picked last. On one hand everyone hated me, on the other my motor system is damaged since birth so I'm extremely unathletic. It's extremely brutal having to witness everyone getting picked except you and then when nobody was left and one unlucky team had to take you they all look at you in resignation as if to say "why is this chink on our team again?". Of course when we had to group up in pairs I was never picked either, I either sat alone on the bench or had to do shit with the teacher. It was extremely humiliating.
