They are literal NPCs who consoom only the normie movies, TV series, music, videogames... Like clones coming out of the same mold. The kind of guy in school that would ridicule you if you did something differently and that when growing up will also stick to do the popular thing.

On one hand I find normies so fucking boring but on the other hand I envy that they manage to have such sucessful social lives (and sexual too if they get a gf) with ease and how they live carefree only consooming the popular thing and partying. They have it so easy in life.

They’re the definition of average. They don’t stand out in anyway, they aren’t particularly smart, they don’t know true pain. they wouldn’t survive a day in my life. A lot of times I feel superior to them because of this. but yes, they don’t really have to think that hard. They’re so immersed in their little mundane lives which must be a certain type of bliss. Their lives are full of socializing and fun and acceptance. But it’s only because they are so basic that tons of other basic people can relate to them.

I don’t understand how they cope with the fact that they will always be outshone by truly talented and attractive people. Are they all just settling for each other?

I do not think that they need to "cope" in most cases as they lack the curiosity or self-awareness to conceive of things being any different than they are for them.
