The sun is so strong in Brazil's summer that just 10 mins of it per day already makes me tan somewhat.

Yeah I clearly noticed while living in Germany that the amount of cloudy days is much higher compared to Brazil, and that was an unsually sunny summer/fall according to my father.
Summer in Brazil is like this: sunny and hot all the time and then it rains like the biblical flood for 2 hours or something and then it gets sunny again. Cloudy days are not common and even during them it's hot and dampy.
