I've always preferred cats to dogs really, they're much more angelic and quiet. Everyone else that isn't an introvert apparently loves dogs in America. Its another thing I actually hate how no one can have a conversation anymore so they just talk about liking dogs, fucking enough.

Dogs: Annoying voice, shed more, honestly most breeds ugly as fuck, makes leaving your house complicated, wakes you up, needs to be walked, the list of cons goes on.

Cats: Quiet, you can train them to use your toilet, don't get lost, basically can take care of themselves, look much better. Pleasing sound.

The only people who have ever agreed with me about this kind of thing are other incels in denial and weirdos and outcasts. All these fucking normies love dogs so I don't know why I haven't taken the dogpill yet. They act like you've just cursed their family tree by saying you don't like dogs. Society would rather kill 10 incels than one dog, not exaggerating.

But from what I've seen most of them are annoying and loud, ugly, overly playful to the point it's draining, smell horrible if you don't bathe them and they can be a complete pain in the ass if they manage to get out of your house.
